First Impressions

It is officially 7 weeks until summer vacation, and I literally cannot wait. The theme of this month's Wicked Good box is "Tropical Bliss" and it has created an awakening in me that only a warm breeze and sunshine can! Focusing on all things summer, the floral and citrus tones in this month's box are absolutely mesmerizing. Read below to see what I discovered.

What's Inside This Box

"Dragonfruit + Sun Mask" Perfume Oil Roller, 10 mL - Listed Value $18

Dragonfruit is something that isn't found in northern Minnesota often, but my family has bought a couple to bring home to try! With a spiny pink shell, the outside is gorgeous, and the inside is surprising! With a white flesh speckled with black seeds, it sort of reminds me of a kiwi, but with a much milder flavor. This month's perfume oil roller combined the scent of pink dragonfruit, lychee, Brazilian jasmine, ocean air, hibiscus, sheer vanilla, and sun musk to deliver a light, fruity oil that just hints at a warm island vacation. Great for wearing to school and to locations where a heavy scent is frowned upon, this brightens up my skin, without being overpowering.

"Mokara + Moss" Perfume Spray, 1 oz - Listed Value $39

After spritzing this perfume spray on my chest, a seagull flew past, and I honestly closed my eyes and convinced myself for a few minutes that I was sitting on a beach instead of in northern Minnesota. With notes of mokara orchid, white lily, and spring moss, the earthy, yet beautiful fragrance this spray delivered was amazing. Slightly sweet with the perfect blend of grassy moss, this really creating a calming sensation in me, and with the behaviors at the end of the school year - I needed just that!

"Coconut + Ylang Ylang" Whipped Body Butter

Tropical Bliss, you are here!!! To add to our aromatherapy vacation, this Coconut + Ylang Ylang body butter hit it spot on. With notes of bergamot, pink pepper, lemon, transluzone, ylang ylang, coconut milk, musk, cedar, and benzoin, this sweet smelling butter reminds me of fresh coconuts paired with a citrus-flavored margarita, and I cannot get enough of it! Extremely moisturizing, this lotion is fantastic for slathering on after a sauna, and I think it just might be one of my favorite inclusions ever!

"Citrus + Jasmine" Dry Oil Spray

The last item we received this month was a dry oil spray with notes of grapefruit, bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose, sage, and rosewood. Created to infuse skin with moisture all while smelling decadent, this oil does it's job very well. Similar to the other fragrances this month, this one was a little more on the citrus spectrum, but also included earthy notes that really gave off island vibes. Because of the oil, this fragrance did last a little longer than the perfume, and gave me all the hope I needed for the arrival of summer.

The perfume spray and roller alone have a total listed value of $57, which is $24 over the cost of this month's box! In this box, each of the 4 items costs an average of about $8.25.

Key Takeaways

Wicked Good most definitely knocked it out of the park with this months "Tropical Bliss" curation. Not only were all four items different, but their fragrance notes differed as well - though still blended together nicely. With a beautiful presentation, I loved the inclusion of the body butter and oil spray, and love using these fragrances to help reduce my anxiety through aromatherapy. Wonderful alone, but fun when layered, all of this month's inclusions worked well together and created a very relaxing experience. I already am looking forward to the May curation.
