We received this little card describing this month's theme of "Lunar Magic" and it gave us a breakdown of the four items inside. I thought the theme was great and I really loved all of the beautiful labels on this month's bottles!

"New Moon" Solid Shampoo

I've never received a solid shampoo from this subscription before and I thought it was a nice inclusion! The scent is lemon eucalyptus, green cardamom, oakmoss, olibanum, and night phlox. I thought it was great for a shampoo since it wasn't overly feminine nor was it overwhelming. It came across as an earthy scent; a bit of eucalyptus, but mostly cardamom, although I'm sure the other scents could be there as well, I just have no frame of reference for any of them! The shampoo lathered well even with just a little bit and my hair definitely felt clean. It wasn't as soft as it usually feels after washing and conditioning, but the next item in my box helped with that!
"Full Moon" Elixir

Our next item is multipurpose "magic in a bottle" made with a blend of oils to promote a healthy glow and "enhance visible radiance." This elixir is a thin consistency that works well to add some shine to your hair, nails, and skin. It blended in well and even though my skin had a shine to it after using it, it did not feel greasy to the touch. It definitely has the visible radiance effect for a dewy or glowy look. The scent is moonflower, Spanish moss, herbal tea, and sandalwood. I thought it came across a fresh and clean, similar to clean cotton but with a rich sweetness to it that really rounded it out. It was perfectly light for a product that has so many different uses!
"Crescent Moon" Perfume Oil Roller, 10 ml - Listed Value $20

Our roller this month is a blend of Spanish moss, casa blanca lily, tuberose, and white cashmere musk. I would describe it as a sweet cashmere musk with a bit of fruit to it. It somehow manages to be both warm and bright at the same time. It's light, but it's one of those scents that you want to keep taking in once you get a whiff!
"Dark Moon" Perfume Spray, 1 oz - Listed Value $39

How pretty is this label? This perfume spray is a blend of devil's trumpet, plum nectar, lemon, cinnamon, red currant, patchouli leaves, and cashmere. I can definitely pick on the plum and currant with some notes of vibrant lemon zest. I tried to pick up on the cinnamon and I can tell that it's there, but I was unable to single it out. The finish has just a touch of cashmere to warm it up and some herbal or floral notes. I feel like this one has a pretty good throw and it's one of those where you would definitely pick up on it without being overwhelmed.
