The Mindful Box is a monthly subscription from Mindful Souls, a landing place for those interested in spirituality, personal growth, crystals, and more. Mindful Souls focuses on simplifying and demystifying the concept of spiritual improvement, making it more accessible and understandable for everyone. The Mindful Box is meant as a holistic self-care delivery. Each box contains 6-8 mindful items such as crystals, aromatherapy, and other self-love tools.

The Cost: $39.97 per month + free shipping to the US.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

Monthly deliveries come packed in this beautifully branded box. It's secured by a sticker that gets you excited to explore what's inside. Once you open the box, you're greeted by an information pamphlet, a monthly affirmation, and a sticker.

Details about your monthly curation are inside this pamphlet. On the back is a teaser into your next box. This subscription is a little different than others, in that the boxes are set up to be sent in a sequence — everyone receives boxes in the same order, no matter when they subscribe. So the teaser on the back of the booklet will be about what YOU are going to receive, and might differ from what you see here.

Our sticker of the month is this colorful crystal illustration. From the photo it looks nearly holographic, but it is simply a beautifully skillful drawing. The mantra of the month is about releasing resentment. This feels like something a little different from the norm, and so far I love how grounded the monthly mantras are from this box!

What's Inside the March 2024 Mindful Souls Box

Raw Green Fluorite Necklace - Estimated Retail Value $17.97

See similar here.

I am so drawn to raw stones, especially the ones (like this) that you can imagine stumbling upon out in nature—on a hike, say—and truly recognizing how magical this "thing of the Earth" is. This piece of green fluorite is gorgeous as it is, but when held up to the light it is especially pretty. The way its shape is white at the peaks and darker in the curves reminds me of the sea—so much held within it.

I've talked up the quality of Mindful Box's adjustable cords on their jewelry, and I stand by that statement; however, something flukey happened with those one, and one of its strings un-knotted and pulled through the adjuster bit the first time I loosened it to try it on. I couldn't quite figure out how to repair it, so I just knotted the cord in a fixed position. That's how all my homemade crystal necklaces are anyway!

Typically I show adjustable necklaces at their shortest and longest settings, but because of my mishap you simply get two views of it in its fixed length. I love the gentle contrast of the stone against my yellow sweater.

Set of Healing Chakra Stones, Polished - Retail Value $29.97

Together in one set, we were sent these 7 polished stones representing the chakras. The info booklet gives a really loose intro to the concept of chakras, and of course tons more information is available online. I personally have not delved into chakra work, though I have attended several yoga classes and workshops where individual ones of these spiritual centers were the focus. If nothing else, it's a beautiful rainbow of stones to explore and hold in your hands.

Mandala Notebook - Estimated Retail Value $15.97

I love a good notebook, and this one is top tier. It has a padded mandala cover and an elastic to hold it closed. Inside, the header of each page prompts you to indicate the weather, day of the week, date, and memo number if you like. The sense of organization it invites is inspiring!

Pen With Amazonite Stone - Estimated Retail Value $18.97

See similar here.

Fittingly, we were also sent a ballpoint pen. I absolutely love when subscription box curators have the thoughtfulness to include coordinating items. The polished amazonite stone crowning this black pen makes it especially appealing to my young daughter, who is a budding artist, as well as my toddler, who naturally treats it as a wand. I didn't anticipate how much joy this pen would bring us all!

Here's a peek at the notebook and pen in use, and truly this was just the beginning. We have filled the pages with all sorts of doodles and notes and portraits of one another in the days since this duo arrived.

Solar System Bracelet - Retail Value $12.97

Oh, hooray! I had spotted this bracelet in the Mindful Souls shop last month when I was looking for links for my review, and paused for a moment to admire it. My daughter is quite intrigued by the planets and there is a great deal of space chatter/research that happens under our roof, so this bracelet seemed like a beautiful representation of our current interests. And here it is. Manifestation at its finest! Each of the planets in our solar system are represented by different polished stones, and the bracelet is filled out with lava stones and star beads.

Unfortunately even at its smallest adjustment it's too large for my kid, but I told her I could wear it on her behalf until her wrist grows into it. And it's with joy that I'm her proxy—it reminds me of her in the warmest of ways.

Carnelian Ring - Estimated Retail Value $16.97

Oh how pretty! Of all the wraps I've owned over the years, I think this is my first ring. It's also my first encounter of the carnelian stone, which, as I just learned from the info card, is an energizing stone that helps boost self-esteem. The ring is adjustable, but it arrived in a size that was just-right for me. The curled ends create a little hug for my finger—I found it to be noticeably comfortable, which made me smile.

Verdict

The Cost: $39.97 per month + free shipping to the US.

As someone who always tries to stay curious, I find it fun to consider why certain things come into my life when they do. In the case of this month's Mindful Box, there's a lot of space for interpretation of the timing of certain stones and what they represent. But this month, I found myself noticing the colors and styles more than the meanings, and this is just as valid! I really enjoyed everything I received, but my favorites were the solar system bracelet, the ring, and the stone-topped pen.

This box costs $39.97, and contained 6 items (counting the set of 7 chakra stones as 1). I was not able to find actual retail values for many of the items this month, but using prices of similar pieces and a couple of estimates, things add up to an approximate value of $112.82. I'm happy with this value!
